on the - side of things:
-I overslept and had to skip my workout.
-I forgot to turn in a homework that was worth 200 pts.
-I didn't have time to eat lunch.
-I had to call one of my professors... on the phone.
-I left my study guide at home, and I had a calculus test today.
-My neighbor is a (loud, annoying) turd.
-I'm trying to figure out my schedule for next semester, and I only have bad words to say at this point. I *think* I'm going to be on campus (which is 40 minutes from my house, IF I SPEED) for 10 hours one day a week. I'm trying not to stress out, because it's only one day a week, but ugh!
-I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting.
on the + side:
-While I didn't have enough time to go to the gym, I did have enough time to straighten my hair, and it's so long!
-I found a suitcase in the back of my closet full of boots I had forgotten about!
-I emailed my teacher (and you guys, I have never, ever asked for special treatment before) to see if by chance he would allow me to turn in my homework late and he said yes, without penalty, even.
-The calculus test I didn't get to finish studying for? I'm pretty sure I got a 100 on it.
-Today is my Friday. Right now I'm going to go unwind in the tub with a book about Mary Queen of Scots, and tomorrow my only plans are an early run, the post office, and yoga. Woohoo!
note: The yellow flowers in the pictures are called yellow bitterweed (or helenium amarum, if you're into that sort of thing) and they're in bloom right now. My commute between home and school is covered in them, and there are a few fields that look like they're blanketed with yellow snow. Just a fun little fact. :] Happy weekending!
